What is a subscription license?
Like other vendors, we offer a subscription license which provides a lower cost of purchase thereby reducing the buyer's risk. A subscription is similar to a lease or a mandatory yearly maintenance and support contract.
The subscription license is initially a 6 month / 60 days of use period that begins at the time of purchase. After that, a yearly subscription is required. The subscription varies with the system. For the single scanner systems the subscription is $10,000/year. For multiple scanner systems the subscription varies depending upon the configuration from $5,000 to $10,000/year per additional scanner. The Ladybug subscription is $5,000/year.
Regarding the "days of use" terminology. A “day” is considered as 8 hours or 480 minutes so 60 days of use is really 28,800 minutes.
