Snoopy Velodyne/X330 Training with Thadd
The top-right picture shown here demonstrates the FARO X330 and ScanLook 1.0, as of October 2013. In the picture to the left we see ScanLook 2.0 Snoopy with the X330. The X330 is a definite improvement over the FARO 120. The data is cleaner, has a better range of intensity, and a definite improvement in distance. Vertical objects (buildings, trees) can definitely be collected several hundred meters away from the vehicle.
